Transport Manager (CPC Holder)\n\nSalary: £45,000 - £50,000\n Location: UK (with EU travel up to twice per month)\n Type: Temp to Perm / Permanent Opportunity\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Transport Manager to join a large, well-established logistics business during a period of strategic expansion.\n\nThis role will play a key part in launching and managing a new cross-border linehaul solution between the UK, Netherlands, Ireland and additional EU lanes as the network scales throughout the year.\n\nThis is a genuine opportunity to build and shape a new operation within a growing team, with long-term progression available as fleet size and lane volumes increase.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAct as Transport Manager and be named on the Operator's Licence\nOversee a dedicated linehaul fleet operating cross-border between the UK and EU\nManage driver compliance, WTD, tachograph and O Licence obligations\nEnsure full compliance with DVSA and regulatory requirements\nMonitor fleet utilisation, route efficiency and cost control\nSupport the launch of new EU lanes as operations expand\nLiaise with EU partners and operational teams\nTravel to EU locations up to twice per month as required\nDrive operational performance, service levels and KPI deliveryRequirements\n\nValid International Transport Manager CPC\nExperience being named on an Operator's Licence\nStrong knowledge of UK and EU transport regulations\nLinehaul / trunking management experience\nCross-border transport experience (UK-EU preferred)\nExperience managing drivers and fleet compliance\nStrong understanding of tachograph legislation and WTD\nWillingness to travel internationally (up to 2 trips per month)\nCommercially aware and operationally hands-onWhat's on Offer\n\n£45,000 - £50,000 salary (depending on experience)\nOpportunity to build and shape a new operation\nExposure to international transport growth\nClear pathway to permanent and long-term progression\nStability within a large, expanding logistics group
