About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated SEND Class Teacher to join our Newton Abbot site, working with younger pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Many of our pupils have experienced trauma or adverse childhood experiences, and they need a teacher who can offer both high-quality learning and unwavering emotional support.
This is a role where connection, creativity and consistency matter just as much as curriculum knowledge. You will be part of a nurturing, skilled and collaborative team committed to helping every child feel safe, valued and ready to learn.

What We're Looking For
We are looking for a teacher who is not only skilled, but deeply committed to making a difference.
About Us
Fieldstone School is an independent day school supporting some of the most vulnerable young people in society aged 5–16—students who may struggle to access mainstream education for a variety of reasons. These can include behavioural, emotional, or educational challenges, difficulties associated with the autistic spectrum, sensory processing disorders, attachment difficulties, or experiences of trauma.
We are committed to ensuring that every student reaches their full potential academically and personally. As a day school, we provide an alternative to residential education, helping students develop independence, social skills, and resilience while remaining in their home environment.
Fieldstone School operates in line with Devon County Council's Section 175 safeguarding requirements, demonstrating our commitment to the safety and welfare of all students.
