\n\nWhere You’ll Work\n\n

You’ll be part of the Barnet cluster, covering areas like Barnet, Finchley, Totteridge, Whetstone, Hendon, and Golders Green. Enjoy the freedom of working in your local area with a clearly planned schedule of appointments—no reactive callouts, just organized, pre-booked work!

Your day will kick off with a clear digital schedule, where each job is pre-booked and the member is expecting you. You’ll carry out:

• Routine servicing

• Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment

• In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
\n
• Member advice and recommendations based on your inspections
\n
• Vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
\n

With SMR, you’ll have everything you need from day one: a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, full tool set, and advanced diagnostics. Use your technical skills and problem-solving abilities to get people moving again—safely, quickly, and confidently!

\n\nWhat You’ll Need\n\n

• Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
\n
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
\n
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
\n
