Geotechnical Engineer\n\nLocation: Hull Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 \n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a leading geotechnical contractor based in Hull. Specialising in ground engineering solutions, the company works on a diverse range of infrastructure, commercial, industrial and residential projects across the UK.\n\nThis is a predominantly site-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in the practical delivery of projects and wants to gain hands-on experience working closely with site teams, clients and subcontractors.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of geotechnical projects from mobilisation through to completion. You will provide technical support on site, oversee works, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProvide technical support on geotechnical and ground engineering projects.\nSupervise site operations and monitor project progress.\nReview ground investigation information and assist with engineering solutions.\nEnsure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and health and safety requirements.\nLiaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site personnel.\nAssist with quality assurance, reporting and project documentation.\nMonitor programme performance and help resolve technical issues on site.\nSupport project managers in the successful delivery of contracts.\n\nRequirements\n\nDegree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or a related discipline.\nExperience within geotechnical contracting, ground engineering or ground investigation.\nStrong understanding of site operations and construction practices.\nExcellent communication and organisational skills.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple site activities.\nFull UK driving licence.\nWillingness to travel to project sites as required.\n\nBenefits\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\nCompany vehicle or car allowance.\nAnnual bonus opportunities.\nStructured training and professional development.\nClear progression into Senior Engineer and Project Management positions.\nOpportunity to work on major infrastructure and development projects across the UK.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer who enjoys a hands-on, site-focused role and is looking to build a long-term career with a successful and growing geotechnical contractor
